Burry Port Shop
The manager of the Burry Port shop has decided to run set up her own charity shop, therefore GRW is no longer the beneficiary of donations to that store. GRW ideally wished for its store to continue in Burry Port but has allowed the store to continue raising money for its current charities as requested by the manger, and wishes the shop well in its new venture.
Thank you
A busy weekend for the rescue. Around 20 volunteers out and about collecting money, organizing people and moving dogs around. The end result is that three dogs have come in and are now safe; and, two that were in our care are now in their forever homes. A big thanks to everyone.
Collection Success
Thanks to everyone involved in the Swansea, Narberth and Cardiff collections. In total over £1800 was raised, which is much needed for the dogs in care at this time of year.

About Us
Greyhound Rescue Wales is the longest established greyhound charity in Wales and the only all Wales charity dedicated to rescuing and re-homing greyhounds and lurchers.
Our dogs are given to us directly by their owners or we take them in as strays after they have been abandoned. Our dogs receive all the loving care and veterinary treatment they need for as long as they are with us. All are also neutered, vaccinated, wormed and micro-chipped. To see the greyhounds and lurchers who need homes at the moment look at our Dogs Needing Homes Page.
Greyhound Rescue Wales campaigns ceaselessly to spread the message that Greyhounds and lurchers make wonderful pets. We are currently working with key partners to make sure that all greyhounds in Wales receive protection in law in the future. Greyhound Rescue Wales is an entirely voluntary organisation so all the funds we raise are put to good use with the lowest possible overheads.
There are many ways you can help us: enter our monthly prize draw, visit our shop, sponsor a dog, rehome a dog or there are other ways to help.
